16-21 November 2004 - Minsk, Belarus - NO CULTURE WITHOUT SUBCULTURE festival workshops, exhibitions, films, music ... ... and more. We would like to invite to take part in the festival collectives, groups and individuals busy in independent, experimental, socially and politically oriented, non-commercial art and culture to come to Belarus and share their experience and ideas with people from Belarus and other ex-SU countries in the forms of discussions, exhibitions, talks, debates, videoshows, concerts and fun. There will be a great opportunity for people from Western and Central/Eastern Europe and ex-Soviet Union countries to meet each other and learn something new; - to make contacts and exchange information; - to discuss the problems which the independent cultural groups meet in different countries; - to promote the independence, creative attitude and non-profit approach in cultural activities; - to initiate cultural projects between "East" and "West".
